Fuzzy Math, a New Mathematical Theory That Can Save Energy Up to 40% and Its Used in Washing Machines?

My friend told me about this project for the math fair and I really find it interesting but the only thing is, I CANNOT FIND ANY INFO ON THE INTERNET! its my senior year (grade 12) and I want to get a good mark in math.
please tell me if you know anything about it, oh btw it they tried this theory on the washing machine and it worked but i seriously do not know how!
If you do not know anything about this, please suggest interesting math projects that require models.
I want to know how can we make the model and how can we present our work using mathematics and like there things because i dont really think that this project is gonna be easy ![]()
thank you ![]()

I know that the phrase “Fuzzy Math” has been badly abused in the popular press.
It is supposed to refer to an extension to the idea of a Boolean Algebra {logic – everything is “true” (1) or “false” (0)} to allow fractional values (partially true?).
Start by studying Boolean Algebra.
THEN move on to Fuzzy Math (also called “Fuzzy Logic”, things can be “partially” true, or “Fuzzy Sets” elements can be “partially in a set and partially out of it).
