I am doing an engligh solo talk and i want to talk about the big bang theory and the big bang machine. i thought i would start by explaining the big bang theory, i understand it but im having difficulty putting it into words other people would understand. please help, 10 points for whoever does it best!

How is this machine able to recreate the big bang without blowing up the entire universe. If one atom or particle blew up and created the universe we live in now. Then how would an atom in a machine be any different? Wont this machine more or less wipe out existence?
