What Is a Good Cad/Cam Program for Personal Projects?
Ok, I am going to design (and build) some furniture solely for personal satisfaction and use. I don’t plan on selling anything I build. That said, I need to know of a good (low cost) CAD/CAM program for this type of use. I am very educated in design theory and computer programming but I have never designed items to build on a computer (just paper). I would enjoy the luxury of a simple CAD/CAM program to assist me in my designs. Now, I would like to keep any cost of the program under $200, but if more money is required, please explain why.
